Quick Tip


Here is a useful tip for keeping salads crisp when making them ahead of time.
Place a saucer upside down in the bottom of the salad bowl before filling with salad greens and vegetables.  Any excess moisture will run and pool underneath the saucer.  Chill until ready to serve, then remove saucer and season with dressing.
