Quick Tip

To thoroughly clean kids plastic toys (bath toys, beach toys and new toys) fill a sink or bucket with 1 quart of warm water and 4 T baking soda.  Swish around until the soda is dissolved.
Wash toys using a cloth of sponge with the water, letting really grungy ones soak.
Rinse and then dry.  You could even splash some vinegar on the scrubbed toys before rinsing during cold season to kill virus germs.
This cleans and deodorizes the toys without using harsh chemicals.  We all know that the toys will eventually end up in the kids mouths!

Yesterday my 3-year old threw her plastic grapes on the kitchen floor, and I was thinking of a good way to wash them. Thnx for the quick tip.
