Fun Fall Decorating Ideas

Here are some fun fall decorating ideas that I found on the web...
Use a pumpkin as a vase! What a cute idea. And while this wouldn't last long from a carved pumpkin, the fake carve-able pumpkins would make a great vase for an arrangement. Either use silk flowers or put in a small vase and use fresh flowers.....or even a potted plant...

LOVE this idea for outdoor decorating! And in NH it is so practical, so you can wheel it inside the barn or garage to keep it safe from frost. Very fun...

Talk about simple! Find a interesting vessel, an urn, soup tureen, even a fun bowl and just fill with little pumpkins or gourds...

This idea is from Good Housekeeping and they direct you to snap off the top of pumpkins, place a candle on top and then add a glass hurricane. Cute idea for a fall party centerpiece... Good Housekeeping also has other ideas on this site.

Here is another fun idea, using things from around the house and yard. Find a tray, dish or platter. Then place stemmed glasses upside down over mini pumpkins. Surround with either pine cones (as shown) or nuts, still in the shell. Top with candles as shown, or more little pumpkins! Very fun.

I love these ideas and how they act to preserve the pumpkin, rather than the short life of a carved pumpkin.
