Interesting Concept

Here is a building in Concord, home of Weston Solutions, an environmental company, that has a roof with plants growing on top.
The photo comes from the Concord Monitor and is done intentionally, to reduce water run off and make a more pleasant place for the employees to go out and take breaks.
The plants are grass and sedums and prickly pears. It is expected to reduce water run off by 50%...
Also, the building is heated and cooled with geothermal technology.
