Ski NH!

Bretton Woods Ski Area opened on Monday and most of the other ski areas in NH are following suit this week and next!  It is hard to believe with our balmy 50 degree days (but easy to believe with our 25 degree nights!)
Loon Mountain is opening today.  On Friday - Ragged, Cannon, Waterville Valley, Mt. Sunapee, Mt Cranmore and Crotched Mountain!

(Our neighbors - Sunday River (Maine) and Killington (VT) have been open for weeks.

In early December, Pat's Peak, Attitash and Wildcat are planning on opening for the season.

(Oh - there is also someone in particular who is really looking forward to the snow!)  Ash got her "new skis" a few weeks ago.  She had grown out of her skis and was wearing her father's ski boots!  Her old skis were purchased when she was in third grade and 8 inches shorter!!!
Now, she has sufficiently tall skis, new boots (circa 2010 instead of 1990) and a ski jacket to match!  I think fashion is one of the reasons she loves to ski!
