Recipe: Leftover Burger

In continuing our quest for another delicious burger, we enjoyed these tonight.
Just about everything about them are "leftover"!  So, recreating them will be a challenge, but they were quite delicious.  The burger started off as "leftovers" themselves, as Jon's parents gifted them to us when they cleaned out their freezer before leaving for Florida.
I used leftover beef gravy from a roast beef for the sauce and topped the burger with swiss cheese, leftover from French Onion Soup!
Since I didn't have any leftover rolls, I served them on a bed of onions and peppers!

For each burger:

1 ground sirloin patty
1/2 cup sauteed onions and pepper slices
1/2 cup beef gravy
2 slices swiss cheese
2 slices bacon

Sear the meat and cook to desired doneness.  When mostly cooked, add the gravy to the pan.  When the gravy begins to simmer, top off hamburger with swiss cheese.
Heat bacon to crispy.  Remove from pan and add peppers and onions and heat.

Place peppers and onions on a plate.  Top with burger and cheese.  Then add the bacon slices.  Pour leftover gravy on top of the bacon burger.
