Weird Al at the Capitol Center for the Arts

On Sunday night, Jon, Ashley and I went to see Weird Al Yankovic in Concord.  The theater at the Capitol Center for the Arts is beautiful.  Weird Al is a fantastic performer - singer, songwriter, musician and performer!
We arrived 20 minutes before curtain time and the theater was already half filled!  It was comical, because I have never seen so many balding men with ponytails in one place!  The audience was all ages, from kids to older people, couples to families to small groups and large groups of people.
Weird Al started the show with a energetic and spectacular polka medley and the next 90 minutes just got better and better!  He had so many costume changes, props and giant movie screens that played short pre-recorded skits in between songs.  Weird Al parodies songs and artists.  He has a terrific sense of humor and laughs at himself just as frequently as he pokes fun at others.
If you ever have a chance to see a Weird Al show, do it!  I would go to another one again in a heartbeat!  So much fun!
