Local Color

The colors prevalent in Florida are so different than those found in New England, particularly in the fall.  In NH, autumn can last for weeks or even days and is one of our shortest seasons.  In the blink of an eye, it's winter.  In Florida, things bloom in the fall!
The sky is so brilliant -- sunny most of the time!  If you look closely in this pic, you can see a flock of birds!
Speaking of birds, I think this plant is called Bird of Paradise.  It just bloomed and is bright yellow with purple highlights.  Quite unusual for a New Englander.
 A gorgeous hibiscus.
Sand and shells on my toes!
 Some bright orange seaweed...
 And some green seaweed.
Pretty orange shells on the beach
 Sea Oats in the sun...
And the photographer on one of her long walks on the beach!
