Thanksgiving Recap 2011

This Thanksgiving was a little different for us.  Coming from New England, I have grown accustomed to a "New England' Thanksgiving, complete with traditional food, cool air and New England scenery.  I like to think that we have beautiful foliage at Thanksgiving, but most years we have snow... or wet weather.  This year, we went to the Florida coast for Thanksgiving. The 80 degree weather felt more like the Fourth of July than a November Holiday.  Instead of hay bales, stalks of wheat and snow shovels, we saw....
 Birds in the air...
Birds on the beach... lots and lots of birds...
 Big birds as well...
 People splashing in the pool,
 People resting on the couch,
People hamming it up for the camera
 Castles surrounded by blue skies,
And a little recreational exercise....

As we were leaving, the locals were decorating their trees for Christmas.  Again, something we don't tend to see in New England!
