Voting in the NH Primary

Yesterday was the first time Allie voted!  She turned 18 in June and this was the first time she was able to cast her ballot.
The polls were crowded when we went up to vote.  And just like each time we vote in town, it was a major social occasion!  There were so many volunteers inside the town hall.
When Allie went up to register, there was a bit of confusion with the registrant.  I walked over to see if there was a problem and the woman looked up at me and asked, "Aren't you Piero's daughter?".....
Problem solved.  Allie registered, got her ballot and cast her vote.
We were the 427th & 428th person to vote in town.
A relief as (hopefully) the phone calls from the pollsters will stop and the signs that litter the roads will be put away until November.... I know.  Fat chance.
