As graduation approaches, Ashley has her final high school activities. On Friday the class had their senior dinner dance at Mt. Sunapee Ski Area. Pictures were to be at 5:15pm sharp, but Mother Nature toyed with us. At 5:15 the winds picked up and a very brief rain storm ensued. Plan A was to meet at the boat launch at Pleasant Lake, but because of the rain, we needed a Plan B, so we decided to do photos at our home. After all, there were only going to be 2 couples - Ashley and her date and Ashley's friend Sabrina and her date.
Well, word got out that we were doing photos at home and before we knew it, we had 7 cars parked up our driveway -- Ashley's friends and their parents arrived hoping to get a few pictures of the kids all dressed up.
Allie and I were in shock and I had no idea where we were going to put everyone. Ashley got a phone call that another friend was lost down the road, so she went out in her car to guide him home.
Well, in typical New England weather, the sun came out and the ground dried up in record time. (I attribute it to Gram being Ashley's guardian angel). I sent everyone to the boat launch and we got our photos.
The kids all looked great!
Ashley looking fabulous!
Doesn't she look like a movie star?
Ashley and Tim, her date for the evening.
Some of the friends also going to the dance.
And another group photo. They had a fantastic time at the dance...
