Recipe: Homemade Seasoned Salt

Seasoned Salt is a salt blend that sells pre-made by companies such as Lowry's or Tastefully Simple that is used for seasoning.  Seasoned salt is usually a blend of salt with various herbs and spices, but can include tomato as well. It is easy to make at home and in fact, can be seasoned to taste, one of the best reasons to make it yourself.
People use seasoned salt, just as they use table salt or kosher salt for flavor.  The various added spices add a subtle flavor with no one spice overpowering the others. Here is a basic recipe to follow, but alter the recipe as desired by using your favorite spices, Kosher or Sea salt.

Seasoned Salt
6 T salt (Kosher, sea salt or table salt)
1/2 tsp each  - dried thyme, garlic powder, celery salt, mustard powder, white pepper
1/4 tsp each - onion powder, dill, curry powder
2 tsp paprika

Mix all ingredients together.
Variations - add as desired - sugar, turmeric, marjoram, dried parsley
