Cookbook Review:The Cookie Dough Lover's Cookbook
The Cookie Dough Lover's Cookbook by Lindsay Landis is beautifully photographed with careful attention paid to food styling. The book in itself is just beautiful. It is coil bound inside a cardboard cover. The benefit to this is that it durable and it opens flat for when you are following a recipe in the kitchen.
As the name suggests, the recipes are all based on cookie dough flavors. But, it is not just chocolate chip cookie dough, but sugar cookie dough and oatmeal raisin as well, along with a few other variations.
The author starts out the book with her basic eggless chocolate chip cookie dough recipe that she uses throughout. You want Vegan/Dairy Free? It's there. How about Gluten Free? Or peanut butter, white chocolate macadamia nut, Inside-Out, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar Cookie, Almond, Gingerbread or Mexican Chocolate? And this is only the first page of recipes!
The book continues with chapters on baking equipment and then moves on to Recipe Distinctions (my favorite part).
Candy - recipes for truffles, marshmallows, fudge, Gingerbread Cookie Dough Bark,
Cookies and Brownies- layered, White Chocolate Macadamia, Sandwich Cookies, Whoopie Pies, Thumbprint Cookies, Bars, Frosted Cookies
Cakes, Custards and Pies - Cream Pies, Layer Cakes, Filled Cupcakes, Cheesecake, Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee, Tarts,
Frozen Treats - ice pops, ice creams, sauces, frozen cakes, milkshakes,
Breakfasts - pancakes, stuffed french toast, crepes, baked doughnuts, wafffles cinnamon rolls, granola bars
Party Snacks - Crispy Treats, Cannoli, S'mores, Fritters, Wontons, Dessert Pizzas
And all of these recipes are made with cookie dough!!!!
It is a decadent users manual for cookie dough.

This cookbook is a keeper!
(I get no subsidies or retainer for this endorsement. I just like the cookbook!)
