Umbrella Blow Out!

While Chicago may be known as the Windy City, anyone who was lived in Boston can tell you that Beantown could be called Windtown if it was willing to give up the quaint moniker.  The Boston wind blows off the Atlantic Ocean and it is so biting cold in October through March, that it chills your bones.  When there is no wind, a fall day is pleasant, but when it is gusty, the wind chill drops the temperature to arctic levels.
As if that wasn't enough, the cold Autumn rain adds another hurdle for pedestrians. Have you ever tried walking in the windy rain with an umbrella? The problem isn't common just to Bostonians, I have gone through a number of umbrella that get blown inside out!

Look familiar?  One company, Senz came up with a solution, an aerodynamically shaped umbrella.
The owner of the company went through three umbrellas in a week.  This lead him to designing different types of umbrellas that could stand up to wind.
They have various models of umbrella that are tested for up to 70 mph and have reinforced canopies so they don't invert!  They come in lots of colors (on the Senz website).
The company is based in Europe and can be purchased in many countries in Asia and Australia as well.  Americans can purchase it on Amazon
