Removing Permanent Marker

Here's how to remove permanent marker when the unexpected happens:
From Clothing - use hand sanitizer and blot out with an absorbent cloth
From Walls - use toothpaste or hairspray and gently rub, but not hard enough to remove paint
Carpet - use white vinegar and blot
Wood - rubbing alcohol
Other ideas when all else fails, that might take more than one try:
-Use 91% alcohol and buff out the stain.
-Use a magic erasure to gently sand off the stain
-Write on the stain with more permanent marker and while wet, buff off!
