San Francisco: Golden Gate Park and Hyde Pier

On our last day in San Francisco, we met up with an old friend and took a Segway tour of Golden Gate Park. It was rainy at times and mostly cold.  So cold that they offered us gloves in June!
The building in the front with the three bumps on top is the Academy of Sciences, a children's museum complete with rain forest inside.
This in the amphitheater that always is in use. While we were on our tour,  a concert came and went outside.  The De Young Museum is to the left of the theater and has a tower that takes you high up for spectacular views of the park and San Francisco.
We went to Hyde Pier after our tour to warm up and stopped for a little ice cream on the way.
At the pier, we walked around and viewed old ships, anchors and other nautical parts.
I still can't get over those hilly streets that are completely built up.  Oh, and people everywhere.
