Here's a round up of some new recipes I'd like to try this year. Aside from the scone recipe, they are all vegetable heavy, while not necessarily vegetarian. There are salads, a soup and a delicious scones recipe.
Palazzo Giuseppe's Brussels Sprout Salad - This salad uses my favorites, roasted brussels sprouts, along with candied pecans, goat cheese and a Dijon dressing. I can't wait to try it.
Cornish Scones - This scone recipe is based on one from the Savoy Hotel in London. They suggest using dried fruits, even candied lemon peels. We love scones of all sorts and look forward to these.
Hog's Breath Inn's Artichoke Soup - This soup uses canned artichoke hearts, broth and cream to make a delicious soup. I think I'll reduce the cream or replace it with milk.
Tender Green's Happy Vegan Salads - This recipe is actually many salads that are served together on one plate. Bulgar Wheat Salad, Pasta Pearls Salad, Green Hummus, Quinoa and Beets Salad and a Greens Salad. Even just one of these salads would be an interesting change of pace.
