Virgin Atlantic released an update concerning their rocket ship SpaceShipTwo. The rocket made its first run of 2014 and reached a new high in the supersonic test. The test run was successful on many counts; testing a reflective coating, new thrusters and a manned pilot operating the controls. The ship went to an altitude of 72,000 feet, Mach 1.4.
Plans are on track to shuttle private citizens to space, at a price of $250,000 as early as later this year!
