Our next stop on our trip was London and it was a favorite of mine. London combined the old buildings with the new. It was an exciting city that was full of energy and promise.
We went to some usual tourist attractions, like Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guards. It was packed with people anxious to get a view.
We saw St. Paul's Cathedral and the roses were in bloom.
We walked along the Thames River and saw so sculptures, architecture, and people.
The old police boxes are phone booths and Wi-fi centers.
We saw so many bridges like the Tower Bridge.
We visited the O2, the enormous arena overlooking the Thames.
And even climbed it and saw 360 views that were spectacular. We also saw cranes at every angle of the city, building new structures.
Big Ben was grand.
And we saw a statue of Churchill.
We went on board the Belfast, an old WWII vessel that is docked in the Thames and serves as a navy museum.
