Blessings

Thanksgiving week is a wonderful time to count my blessings. Then again, when isn't a good time?
My girls arrived for Thanksgiving from Boston. It was so wonderful to see them in person again. We slipped back into our old routines right away. I am so lucky to have them home.
I received a much needed pep talk from a close friend. It helped me tremendously and brought me out of a low.
I had two competitive tennis matches this week that were very, very rewarding and fun to play. I had fantastic partners and was thrilled to be able to be focused on the court.
I worked with some great people in order to organize a tennis social for our local club. The small group were pleasant and hard working. I made everyone matching lime green shirts and it brought a smile to their faces...plus, we looked professional and official, which was half the goal. It turned out wonderfully.

Ashley helped me tremendously! She carved all 30 pounds of chickens. She moved tables, carried beer, and was warm and friendly to all the strangers that knew her as my daughter. She also became an emergency babysitter for the pro who was playing in the exhibition match. I was so proud of her. She has such a good heart and a quick mind. She's also hysterically funny. Three great qualities.

Happy Thanksgiving. May your blessings be plentiful.
