Project: Rustic Stick Star from December 2013
Here's an easy craft to make with things you probably have around the house and yard. A stick Christmas star looks both festive and homey and is an great addition year round.
Add a dab of hot glue to the place where the sticks cross. Dip the end of the twine in the bead to hold it in place and then wrap the twine around the spot. When you get to within an inch of the end, add another dab of hot glue and wrap the twine into the glue to hold it in place.
Continue to do that will all the parts on the star.
Add a ribbon on top (optional) and hang.
Tomorrow's post will show some alternatives using the same technique.
