Sunken Gardens, Part 2
The Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg, Florida is a 4 acre botanical garden open to the public for visiting.
It's full of beautiful walkways, lots of places to roam, many small waterfalls, ponds, natural pools, and buildings.
I loved the huge, old trees. They made us feel like we were in a tropical jungle. I expected to see dinosaurs and gorillas! There were none.
There were brilliant plants of all colors. Some were in bloom, others were just amazing textured and colors.
Look at the size of of this leaf! It was the as big as an umbrella!
