My latest fusing project involves an idea I saw on Pinterest. I thought it was cute and so I made it with geometric shapes.
Here, you can see the shapes before and after fusing. Because I chose to have the piece dimensionally fused, the shapes rounded out nicely. The pieces got thicker and more plump. I added a white bar of highlights on the bodies of the reindeer. The ornament is 4.5 inches square.
You can barely see, but in the photo on the left, there is some rolled white paper. I drilled a hole in the glass and then filled it with kiln paper, so that when it was put in the kiln, it wouldn't close up. This was a new technique for me.
