Pumpkin Drawing Five Ways

Here is my original colored pencil drawing of a couple of pumpkins. It's a simple drawing with geometric shapes to resemble pumpkins.
After I scanned it into my computer, I was able to alter it digitally.

I added a background with some blues and splotchy color. It reminded me of Halloween night.
I took the next image and added an aged look, as if it was an old drawing or a mural on a plaster wall.
Here, I inverted the colors and added some background texture. I like how the pumpkins are outlined with orange.
Lastly, I used a rusty metal backdrop to give some interest to the scene.
Each background gives the original sketch new life.
