Glass Fusing: Cabochons

I made some fused glass cabochons using a ceramic mold. A Cabochon is typically a gemstone that has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted.
To make it, I used fritted glass that I placed into the four molds. I started with crushed black glass and when t was mostly filled, I added some colored dichroic glass. I topped it off with clear frit and set it to be fused.
After they were cooked in the kiln, they formed the cabochon. I attached some silver bails so they could be hung onto a necklace.
